The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is dedicated to ensuring that the 1.7 million Commonwealth servicemen and women who died in the two World Wars are never forgotten.

In this presentation, Deserie Mansfield will share an overview of the history and work of the CWGC, together with some of the fascinating and deeply moving stories behind the names commemorated on headstones and memorials, both locally and around the world.

Through these stories, she hopes to help bridge the past with the present and ensure that the legacy of those who served remains remembered and meaningful for generations to come.
